Strio Trio combines the recordings of a solo violin, viola, and cello into one simple-to-use ensemble patch. With a long sustain, staccato, and pizzicato, it is a great starting point for composing isolated string parts.
Recorded at Nave Studios in the Neoclassical style, the library offers close, mid, and far microphone mixes, giving full control over how intimate or ambient you wish the strings to be.
Dynamics
– Control the dynamic via the mod wheel/ CC1
Colour
– EQ effect to change the brightness of the overall sound.
Stereo Width
– Controls the stereo widening effect, turn clockwise to widen the signal, turn fully anticlockwise for a mono signal.
Reverb
– Control the level of reverb with further settings if you click on the cog.
Mic Mix
– Control the amount of close, mid and far mics. Mute [M], Solo [S], and Purge [⏻] the raw layer and individual Atmosphere Layers from memory. Blend between a close and far mix.
Tightness
– Controls the sample offset. It is recommended to have this at 0 to allow for the bow noise before the note.
Dynamic Response
– Control how much the volume of the instrument is affected by the dynamics modulation.
