All of your main controls in one place. Create galactic electronic sounds in seconds with Socora LITE’s front panel effects, sound shaping, modulation and macro controls.

Move the orange slider in the middle of the engine to morph and twist the library’s multi-fx. This single control operates a cosmos of weird and wonderful sounds!

Select a modular synth sample, add a touch of noise or sub-bass, spread the voices across the stereo field and add a sprinkle of unison. This dual-layer beastie packs a supersonic punch!

Shape your sound with high-cut and low-cut filters (with adaptive resonance), pitch and pan controls, and an ASDR that sports a collection of presets. Slick, quick and simple sound shaping!

ANALOG CORE

At its heart, Socora LITE features nine, beautifully sampled, modular synth oscillators and six noise/sub-basses (sampled from a rather tasty vintage analog synth). Using the engine’s effects, filters and modulation, these oscillator waveforms transform into incredible electro-cinematic sounds that can be warped, crushed, blown apart or gently set adrift across a vast sonic cosmos. You’ll not believe the sheer scope and quality of this lightweight yet heavy-hitting Kontakt library.

INSTABILITY CONTROL

One of our favourite features is the INSTABILITY control. By simulating how ageing electrical components effect the sound of an analog synth, this library sounds, feels and plays like the real thing! Set to zero, Socora LITE sounds like any other software synth. As the control is raised, the library begins to sound like an authentic modern synth in good working order. As the control is raised further, back in time we go – from ‘classic vintage synth’ to ‘ooo, that thing needs a service!’.

FX MORPHING

When you move the orange slider in the middle of Socora LITE, a multitude of FX settings change simultaneously. It’s like scrolling through a horde of your favourite FX presets, each one intensifying as the control increases. Not only does this simplify and speed up your creative process, it also paves the way for a unique style of modulation…fx morphing!

ENHANCED FILTERING

Software filters…hmm…we have never been their biggest fans. To us, they lack the solidity and weight of their hardware equivalents. We found a missing ingredient, a little trick that makes our low-cut, high-cut and multi-mode filters sound more like the real thing. They are buttery smooth, heavy and phat, and bring a little more juicy goodness to software synthesis.
