Upright Piano is a free virtual piano instrument plugin (ROMpler) for digital audio workstations on Windows and macOS.
The samples were recorded in 44.1kHz 16bit audio quality. With 2 velocity layers per sampled note, Upright Piano is ideal for simple piano lines. It has a sharp and fuzzy sound that fits well in dark and sad melodies, in genres such as Trap, Hip Hop & RnB.
Upright Piano comes with an easy-to-use GUI and typical controls such as reverb, chorus, and delay, but also a lo-fi effects unit. There’s also an ADSR envelope and gain controls for the main sound and key clicks.
Upright Piano is perfect for those looking for a “dirty” sounding piano to be used in modern music productions. It is available in VST/VST3 Windows and VST/VST3 & AU macOS.
