A very simple, easy to use drum synth. Mostly for fat kick sounds, but not exclusively.
A member in my Facebook group asked me several times to make him a drum synth.
I answered that have no experience in it, but after his multiple letters started to make something.
It had more features (oscillators, sequencer,...), but he wanted only a sine osc and not much more.
He was mostly satisfied with the result, but not entirely...
Main features:
- 1 sine osc
- a common decay envelope for the lowpass filter and amp
- another decay envelope for pitch mod
- decays have x^3 based shapes
- an extra LP filter to reduce clicking - the cutoff frequency changes with pitch Tune
- +/- 4 octaves tuning range
- the drumpad is set to a fix C2 pitch
- the incoming midi note filtering removed from the pad, so drum melodies can be played by keyboard or DAW
- velocity sensitive amp level, decay time and cutoff frequency
- Random and Reset buttons
- knobs can learn Midi and double clicking set them to default value
- 64 program slots
- 32 presets by me with strange names - feel free to rename them
