Rolend Sysytem 101M_Exp
![[Image: 2LnHA5n.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/2LnHA5n.jpg)
An 'approx-mulation' of a Roland System 100M in an 8-module configuration described in the brochure as 'Expanded combination based on 'B Set'. 'B Set' consisted of:
- 110 VCO/VCF/VCA.
- 140 2Env-LFO.
- 150 Ring-Noise S/H LFO.
in the 190 3-module rack.
Expansion set consisted of:
- 110 VCO/VCF/VCA.
- 140 2Env-LFO.
- 132 2CV/Audio Mixer-Voltage Processor.
- 182 Analog Sequencer (here a simple dual Step LFO).
- 131 Output Mixer.
in the 191J 5-module rack.
Patching is by drop-downs at each input. Two sets of three Mults are provided for expanded patch-ability. Default selections in the drop-downs provide a basic 'start-patch'.
Filters have been expanded to 2-pole VCHP in series with 4-pole LP.
The VCAs outputs can be sent to audio outs or just to internal patching, and provided with pan-pots.
There is also the option of a smaller GUI (Rolend System 101M_Exp_small).
- Also available is an emulation of a pair of 190 racks with modules selected to reflect the basic module compliment of u-he's Bazille (4-VCO/2-VCF/2-VCA/2-LFO/4-EG), since Urs has said that the 100M was a main inspiration for it. So it's called Rolend System 101M_U set. Contains:
- Two 112 2VCO.
- 121 2VCF.
- 130 2VCA.
- Two 140 2Env-LFO.
To make up a bit for the lack of a 150 Noise/RM/S&H module, Noise and RM are available in the drop-downs and S/H in the LFO wave selectors.
These do NOT emulate or model the actual sound of any Roland or any other vintage hardware synths, they just borrow from the control design, layout and panel design of the System 100M.
.
32-bit, so will require jBridge, etc., (or a DAW that will bridge) for use on 64-bit systems.
