Alphatron

Alphatron Pro was inspired by the idea of creating a synthesizer for bass and high sequences.
Alphatron is not just a simple VA synthesizer, instead, in using a 3rd oscillator with digital waves of single cycle type, it offers a lot more variation. Thus it can do pretty good analog-style sounds reminiscent of the old Moog and Prophet days but also merge this with the digital realm in various ways to achieve sounds far beyond.
Also, this 3rd oscillator serves as sync master for oscillator 2 thus offering much more sonic flavour. Amplitude Modulation has got a dedicated adjustable output and uses oscillator 2 as the main source being modulated either by oscillator 1 or 3. Oscillator 1 is a polywave oscillator with up to 5 additional waves, so you might have something like Super Saw, Super Pulse, Super Ramp, etc.
Another highlight of Alphatron is the versatile step sequencer with 8 + 4 pattern slots which can be selected in real time for instant pattern switching. Setting Note Seq to off it can serve as step modulator. The Gate length can be modulated by sources. Two play modes: normal with adjustable number of steps or Step Variation, which is in fact another 16 step sequencer to set different number of steps to be played in succession. Loops can be set to repeat up to 4 times, and two alternating semitone offsets can be set, e.g. for each 2nd, 3rd or 4th loop. There are 8 pattern slots per patch and 4 global pattern slots which can be used for instant pattern changes. Current pattern can be copied and pasted to a selectable slot, with the global slots even among patches.

Astral Dreamer is a 3 PCM wave oscillators synthesizer.
There are dedicated routing options starting right at the oscillators which can be routed to one of the two filters, a flanger, or direct to the VCA. So you can have a dedicated soundmodifier for each oscillator allowing a wide variety of multicoloured sounds within a single patch very much like multilayered sounds.
Each oscillator has got an Additional Harmonics Shaper (AHS) to enrich sound in generating shapeable upper harmonics from the selected wave. The character of this additional sound ranges from rich choruslike to metallic sounds and can be mixed - also via modulation - to the original wave.
The new waveset coming with Astral Dreamer does contain carefully processed waves to provide a wide variety of soundsources: Synth waves from real analog, virtual analog and digital synths, complex waveforms, soundscapes (mostly image generated sounds), plus some XFx sounds. Atonoise 2 is a widely enhanced version of prior Atonoise and is basically built around the modified Mystify processors of the Avatar ST VSTi Synth. Thus it can mangle up sounds to a great extend beyond recognition. It can be used on virtually any kind of sounds like vocals, drumloops, tracks and is even suited for deep sample processing if very few til no modulation is involved. For a more easy access and to give you some ideas of the capabilities a small set of internal samples (including vocals, drumloops & track excerpts) is used for the internal preset bank.

Atonoise Pro

Atonoise Pro is an atonal synthesizer designed for SciFi and others alike sounds.
It's got no filter by design and you won't hardly ever hear the basic waveforms. It's working atonal i.e. with no real defined pitch for various kinds of noisy sounds.
Atonoise is basically not meant for full polyphonic play, rather than mono- or duophonic though 5 voices are supported simply to have some reserve at longer release settings of the ADSR. Using more than two voices even might lead to slight distortions - in such case lower the levels at the oscillators or Dry/Wet.
2 oscillators each with a level adjust and both followed by one amp ADSR EG. The different waveforms simply provide different flavours to the modifiers.
4 modifiers: Inferno and Spook 1 to Spook 3. Inferno adds via Inferno Mix some upper harmonics generated from the input very similar to the timbre feature of my Swamp VSTi. Spook 1 and Spook 2 modifiers can be used as single, in parallel 1|2 or in series 1-2 (see image Signal flow below). The spook amount is determined by the two spook knobs while the XY-Pad ads more or less density i.e. a fairly metallic sound in lower left corner or less density at upper right corner. This can be modulated by selectable and even invertible LFOs. Moving the 'Ghost' image like a joystick ball manually is another option to modulate density. Spook 3 adds even some kind of reverbish flavour when slider is moved to the right.
Anyway please note that using all four modifiers at the same time may soon be the overdose to the mix instead try with more subtle settings by selecting only two or three modifiers.

Avatar ST is most suited for a large variety of pads, soundscapes, atmospheres or related FX sounds but can do other sounds like e.g. certain kinds of basses too.
The 16-Step Modulator allows sounds to be fairly rhythmical in various ways if required. Also you can have one section step-modulated while the the other is not as there are two complete sections with oscillators, modifiers, VCA EG, Delay, Pan and Reverb send, plus a grain processor and a multimode filter to be inserted via different audio routings. In addition there are a lot of modulation options you might select from in order to tailor your sound.

Drumburst X-824 is an 8 parts drum machine with 64 waves at each slot making 512 waves in total: not too much for a quick selection but a good variety to work with.
The inbuilt sequencer features 24 Main Pattern each based on the combination of a dedicated wave, Mute status and 1 out of 6 Step Pattern variations per part. This provides a lot of variation and less of programming effort as pattern can be re-used with a different instrument.

Percumat 2 is a versatile Rhythm machine for backing drums percussion - "definitively not an 808 or 909 type thingie".
Percumat 2 features 6 instrument parts / slots to choose from 512 inbuilt drum & percussion sounds. There are two step sequencers one for setting up the beat steps in groups of 4 x 8 steps (or 4 x half a bar) labeled A1, A2, B1 & B2, while the 2nd sequencers on the left allows you to control a sequence of the 8-step beat groups in 16 steps. Thus it is easy to get variations without having to program complete 16-step bars. In addition to that there is an Auto Track Mute feature for tracks 4, 5 and 6 to have one or two tracks muted for a certain range.
The beat step sequencer offers two additional features: StepMode and Play number of Beats, i.e. Steps so you can have a 7/8, 6/8, 5/8 or even 3/8 beats, while Step Mode changes the order of steps to play in jumping to every 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. step with setting at 7 steps playing the sequence backwards. This is a real playground not only for the lovers of experimental rhythms.

Serenity

Serenity is a synthesizer aimed at creating various choir and string pad sounds.
It is not meant to emulate a specific vintage string or choir machine, although you might find sounds resembling the flavours of the old machines.
Serenity is a fully fledged synthesizer with filters, LFO, various effects and the "Twin Etherify" effect. In addition the internal waveset has been carefully selected to provide you with a wide range of string, choir and vocal waves plus some more complex pad sounds. Most of these waves have been processed widely from prior versions and several new waves have been added.

Swamp is a timbre modulation synthesizer. This being achieved by processing each oscillator's waveform in a very unique way.
The result is frequencies are moved to more mid and high ranges - enriching the sound even with harmonics and at certain settings adds a metallic character usually expected by a ringmodulator - but there is no ringmodulator used.
Each oscillator has actually two audio-outputs: one normal and one Timbre-modulated both being routed by mix-sliders to filter or direct out of VCA. So the most interesting part of a sound is already created in using the mix and modulation section of each oscillator. In addition to that the filter section adds what You expect from a synthesizer.

Swamp XT is a timbre modulation synthesizer. It can create unique sounds from clear & harsh metallic sequenced sounds to soft & wide modulated Pads. This is achieved by modulating the timbre on the oscillator level.
Swamp XT features 'Timbre-modulation': It processes each oscillator's waveform in a very unique way by changing (i.e. enriching or limiting) the harmonic spectrum making the sound fatter, wider or narrower, right down to nearly dissolving it to some kind of distorted noise, depending on the input wave.
While the original Swamp had an oscillator routing to balance its output between normal (i.e. direct signal) and timbre modulated signal, which could each be balanced to go to direct out or to filter, this has been simplified in Swamp XT: direct und timbre modulated signal can be balance mixed to one signal and the output of both oscillators can be balance mixed too. While the direct and filtered signal can be balanced at the amplifier stage of Swamp XT.
Swamp XT delivers a wide variety of sounds - including some really strange and weird.

The Dreammachine

The concept of The Dreammachine is based on three synth layers with slow wave sequencing and sound modulations.
Version 3 of The Dreammachine has gone polyphonic now and can be used as a synth too, so there are three basic ways to play the machine:
Using the inbuilt Note sequencer and, if you like, play along.
Hold a note and if you like play along or edit.
Play the machine as 16-voice synthesizer with max. 6 oscs on one key.
In addition you can manually advance each part using MIDI keys/notes #24, #26, #28 and #29 plus #35 to advance synth parts simultaneously. As the Note sequencer is hard-linked to the Bottom/Low Part this one will be advanced too.
There are three parts: Bottom/Low (or Bass), Back/Mid (or Pad) and Sparkle/High for three basic layers of sound plus a OneShot part to throw in some additional highlights such as vocal phrases, percussive sounds or Sfx. Each part has got a 16-step sequencer for waveforms to be played in succession with the One Shot part having 32 steps. The Note sequencer has an option to play duophonic by adding a 2nd note (selectable in 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 semitones up). Also, Back/Mid and Sparkle Parts can be set in semitones from -12 to +12. This provides a very flexible means to set up sophisticated complex sound layers.
For convenience, the wave names are not only displayed at each seq step but also selectable from popup menus showing the names.

UltraSwamp is powered by 2 PCM wave oscillators (SF2 based) as primary sound-sources and two secondary sound-sources:
Timbremodulator for applying some upper harmonics in a very unique way, and Ringmodulator generating the sum and difference of the input signals so it can give quite a low rumble. As both of these sound-shapers have great capabilities to transform the input signal even beyond recognition these are treated as secondary sound-sources which are processed per voice.
Next are 3 resonant filters selectable: 24dB LowPass, a 12db HiPass and a Bandpass with a 4 channel adaptive mod mixer so 4 sources can be mixed to modulate Cutoff. X-Wheel of Fortune 6 is a versatile multi-part music system with inbuilt cell step control sequencer for creating tracks of various types of music like Ambient or even soundtracks.
Just set up certain basics and let the machine create variations for you as there are several inbuilt algorithms just for this purpose giving this machine it's magic touch.
X-WoF 6 features a great variety of 262 inbuilt scales (Pentatonic, Hexatonic and Heptatonic) using harmonical scale steps for fairly easy composition or arrangement of tracks and even learn more about harmony in music. Additionally you might assign a dedicated - even experimental - User scale for each patch.
There are 10 inbuilt sound engines: two synthesizers for Pad parts, one for Bass, one for HiSq (high sequences), one for Athmo-loops (e.g. rain, waterflow, sonar, etc.) and OneShot sounds plus 5 percussion instruments. For overall interactive realtime control there are two XY SuperModulation pads plus one XY Master Control pad with the option to control the other two. Thus you have up to 28 different modulation destinations under the control of just one knob even with different polarities i.e. directions.
This is a complete new X-WoF with the major aim from the start to have everything built around the new cell step control sequencer which was intended to give best possible overview and versatility. It is called cell step control sequencer because in fact every step is a cell of variable play length in bars (from 1 to 8) plus options to set up different sub-tempo settings for Bass, HiSq, HiHat and Perc 3-5 part and assigning an Athmo or One Shot wave for every 2nd step with adjustable level and tuning.
You can determine harmonical scale steps to be used for each step independently to be played by the Pad parts and used as starting note for Bass and HiSq patterns. These scale steps are derived from the currently selected scale. For every 8 steps there is the option to set up a different base note to transpose the next 7 steps accordingly. Also you can determine step ranges to be played e.g. from step 5 to 12 or so.
Major differences between registered Pro (i.e. enhanced) and the free version:
Presets/patches: Pro = 64 / Free = 4 fully useable and 28 with additional voice overs at varying intervals during playback and forced switching of edit panels - anyway switching back to any other panel is possible;
Athmo/One shot Part: Pro 100 waves / Free = only 60 waves;
MIDI Out: Pro for all internally generated note events / in Free = not present;
MIDI In: Free only for MID CC while Pro offers MIDI In for playing notes and triggering of instruments thus might use the Pro version even as 4 part multi-timbral sound module with two 8-voice pad synths and two monophonic synths.

Alphatron Pro was inspired by the idea of creating a synthesizer for bass and high sequences.
Alphatron is not just a simple VA synthesizer, instead, in using a 3rd oscillator with digital waves of single cycle type, it offers a lot more variation. Thus it can do pretty good analog-style sounds reminiscent of the old Moog and Prophet days but also merge this with the digital realm in various ways to achieve sounds far beyond.
Also, this 3rd oscillator serves as sync master for oscillator 2 thus offering much more sonic flavour. Amplitude Modulation has got a dedicated adjustable output and uses oscillator 2 as the main source being modulated either by oscillator 1 or 3. Oscillator 1 is a polywave oscillator with up to 5 additional waves, so you might have something like Super Saw, Super Pulse, Super Ramp, etc.
Another highlight of Alphatron is the versatile step sequencer with 8 + 4 pattern slots which can be selected in real time for instant pattern switching. Setting Note Seq to off it can serve as step modulator. The Gate length can be modulated by sources. Astral Dreamer is a 3 PCM wave oscillators synthesizer.
There are dedicated routing options starting right at the oscillators which can be routed to one of the two filters, a flanger, or direct to the VCA. So you can have a dedicated soundmodifier for each oscillator allowing a wide variety of multicoloured sounds within a single patch very much like multilayered sounds.
Each oscillator has got an Additional Harmonics Shaper (AHS) to enrich sound in generating shapeable upper harmonics from the selected wave. The character of this additional sound ranges from rich choruslike to metallic sounds and can be mixed - also via modulation - to the original wave.

Atonoise Pro

Atonoise Pro is an atonal synthesizer designed for SciFi and others alike sounds.
It's got no filter by design and you won't hardly ever hear the basic waveforms. It's working atonal i.e. with no real defined pitch for various kinds of noisy sounds.
Atonoise is basically not meant for full polyphonic play, rather than mono- or duophonic though 5 voices are supported simply to have some reserve at longer release settings of the ADSR. Using more than two voices even might lead to slight distortions - in such case lower the levels at the oscillators or Dry/Wet.
2 oscillators each with a level adjust and both followed by one amp ADSR EG. The different waveforms simply provide different flavours to the modifiers.
4 modifiers: Inferno and Spook 1 to Spook 3. Inferno adds via Inferno Mix some upper harmonics generated from the input very similar to the timbre feature of my Swamp VSTi. Spook 1 and Spook 2 modifiers can be used as single, in parallel 1|2 or in series 1-2 (see image Signal flow below). The spook amount is determined by the two spook knobs while the XY-Pad ads more or less density i.e. a fairly metallic sound in lower left corner or less density at upper right corner. This can be modulated by selectable and even invertible LFOs. Moving the 'Ghost' image like a joystick ball manually is another option to modulate density. Spook 3 adds even some kind of reverbish flavour when slider is moved to the right.
Anyway please note that using all four modifiers at the same time may soon be the overdose to the mix instead try with more subtle settings by selecting only two or three modifiers.

Avatar ST is most suited for a large variety of pads, soundscapes, atmospheres or related FX sounds but can do other sounds like e.g. certain kinds of basses too.
The 16-Step Modulator allows sounds to be fairly rhythmical in various ways if required. Also you can have one section step-modulated while the the other is not as there are two complete sections with oscillators, modifiers, VCA EG, Delay, Pan and Reverb send, plus a grain processor and a multimode filter to be inserted via different audio routings. In addition there are a lot of modulation options you might select from in order to tailor your sound.

There are two step sequencers one for setting up the beat steps in groups of 4 x 8 steps (or 4 x half a bar) labeled A1, A2, B1 & B2, while the 2nd sequencers on the left allows you to control a sequence of the 8-step beat groups in 16 steps. Thus it is easy to get variations without having to program complete 16-step bars. In addition to that there is an Auto Track Mute feature for tracks 4, 5 and 6 to have one or two tracks muted for a certain range.
The beat step sequencer offers two additional features: StepMode and Play number of Beats, i.e. Steps so you can have a 7/8, 6/8, 5/8 or even 3/8 beats, while Step Mode changes the order of steps to play in jumping to every 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. step with setting at 7 steps playing the sequence backwards. Swamp

Swamp is a timbre modulation synthesizer. This being achieved by processing each oscillator's waveform in a very unique way.
The result is frequencies are moved to more mid and high ranges - enriching the sound even with harmonics and at certain settings adds a metallic character usually expected by a ringmodulator - but there is no ringmodulator used.
Each oscillator has actually two audio-outputs: one normal and one Timbre-modulated both being routed by mix-sliders to filter or direct out of VCA. So the most interesting part of a sound is already created in using the mix and modulation section of each oscillator. In addition to that the filter section adds what You expect from a synthesizer.

Swamp XT

Swamp XT is a timbre modulation synthesizer. It can create unique sounds from clear & harsh metallic sequenced sounds to soft & wide modulated Pads. This is achieved by modulating the timbre on the oscillator level.
Swamp XT features 'Timbre-modulation': It processes each oscillator's waveform in a very unique way by changing (i.e. enriching or limiting) the harmonic spectrum making the sound fatter, wider or narrower, right down to nearly dissolving it to some kind of distorted noise, depending on the input wave.
While the original Swamp had an oscillator routing to balance its output between normal (i.e. direct signal) and timbre modulated signal, which could each be balanced to go to direct out or to filter, this has been simplified in Swamp XT: direct und timbre modulated signal can be balance mixed to one signal and the output of both oscillators can be balance mixed too. While the direct and filtered signal can be balanced at the amplifier stage of Swamp XT.
Swamp XT delivers a wide variety of sounds - including some really strange and weird.

The Dreammachine

The concept of The Dreammachine is based on three synth layers with slow wave sequencing and sound modulations.
Version 3 of The Dreammachine has gone polyphonic now and can be used as a synth too, so there are three basic ways to play the machine:
Using the inbuilt Note sequencer and, if you like, play along.
Hold a note and if you like play along or edit.
Play the machine as 16-voice synthesizer with max. 6 oscs on one key.
In addition you can manually advance each part using MIDI keys/notes #24, #26, #28 and #29 plus #35 to advance synth parts simultaneously. As the Note sequencer is hard-linked to the Bottom/Low Part this one will be advanced too.
There are three parts: Bottom/Low (or Bass), Back/Mid (or Pad) and Sparkle/High for three basic layers of sound plus a OneShot part to throw in some additional highlights such as vocal phrases, percussive sounds or Sfx. Each part has got a 16-step sequencer for waveforms to be played in succession with the One Shot part having 32 steps. The Note sequencer has an option to play duophonic by adding a 2nd note (selectable in 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 semitones up). Also, Back/Mid and Sparkle Parts can be set in semitones from -12 to +12. This provides a very flexible means to set up sophisticated complex sound layers.
For convenience, the wave names are not only displayed at each seq step but also selectable from popup menus showing the names.

UltraSwamp is powered by 2 PCM wave oscillators (SF2 based) as primary sound-sources and two secondary sound-sources:
Timbremodulator for applying some upper harmonics in a very unique way, and Ringmodulator generating the sum and difference of the input signals so it can give quite a low rumble. As both of these sound-shapers have great capabilities to transform the input signal even beyond recognition these are treated as secondary sound-sources which are processed per voice.
Next are 3 resonant filters selectable: 24dB LowPass, a 12db HiPass and a Bandpass with a 4 channel adaptive mod mixer so 4 sources can be mixed to modulate Cutoff. This adaptive mod mixer gives best control for optimal modulation settings. Filter and amplifier envelope generators work in three selectable modes and have additional adjustable velocity control for Attack and Decay.
Besides LFOs, Sample & Hold and a versatile Gator as mod-sources Aftertouch and Modwheel are selectable at many destinations for real-time modulation interaction to produce an even more vivid sound. Finally the output sections has increased a lot. there is stereo Flanger and stereo Reverb the latter with PreDelay and LowCutoff to remove lower frequencies for an optimized reverb response.

X-Wheel of Fortune 4 is a multipart integrated algorithmic music system for creating tracks based on 8 instruments-parts.
Each patch/preset may be a complete musical track, a track for backing a live performance etc. All this can be arranged in two different ways using the algorithmic Wheel mode for free floating or the Scale step mode for harmonically prestructured tracks.
There are 180 PCM waves (taken from STS-26, ProtoPlasm21 and 'shuniji') for the Pad synthesizers, about 200 Percussion instruments and drums. In addition Sf2 files can be loaded at pad parts and wavefiles for percussion. Now with more than 250 inbuilt scales !

X-Wheel of Fortune 6

X-Wheel of Fortune 6 is a versatile multi-part music system with inbuilt cell step control sequencer for creating tracks of various types of music like Ambient or even soundtracks.
Just set up certain basics and let the machine create variations for you as there are several inbuilt algorithms just for this purpose giving this machine it's magic touch.
X-WoF 6 features a great variety of 262 inbuilt scales (Pentatonic, Hexatonic and Heptatonic) using harmonical scale steps for fairly easy composition or arrangement of tracks and even learn more about harmony in music. Additionally you might assign a dedicated - even experimental - User scale for each patch.
There are 10 inbuilt sound engines: two synthesizers for Pad parts, one for Bass, one for HiSq (high sequences), one for Athmo-loops (e.g. rain, waterflow, sonar, etc.) and OneShot sounds plus 5 percussion instruments. For overall interactive realtime control there are two XY SuperModulation pads plus one XY Master Control pad with the option to control the other two. Thus you have up to 28 different modulation destinations under the control of just one knob even with different polarities i.e. directions.
This is a complete new X-WoF with the major aim from the start to have everything built around the new cell step control sequencer which was intended to give best possible overview and versatility. It is called cell step control sequencer because in fact every step is a cell of variable play length in bars (from 1 to 8) plus options to set up different sub-tempo settings for Bass, HiSq, HiHat and Perc 3-5 part and assigning an Athmo or One Shot wave for every 2nd step with adjustable level and tuning.
You can determine harmonical scale steps to be used for each step independently to be played by the Pad parts and used as starting note for Bass and HiSq patterns. These scale steps are derived from the currently selected scale. For every 8 steps there is the option to set up a different base note to transpose the next 7 steps accordingly. Also you can determine step ranges to be played e.g. from step 5 to 12 or so.
Major differences between registered Pro (i.e. enhanced) and the free version:
Presets/patches: Pro = 64 / Free = 4 fully useable and 28 with additional voice overs at varying intervals during playback and forced switching of edit panels - anyway switching back to any other panel is possible;
Athmo/One shot Part: Pro 100 waves / Free = only 60 waves;
MIDI Out: Pro for all internally generated note events / in Free = not present;
MIDI In: Free only for MID CC while Pro offers MIDI In for playing notes and triggering of instruments thus might use the Pro version even as 4 part multi-timbral sound module with two 8-voice pad synths and two monophonic synths.
