Habe die Original-Bänke jetzt nochmal hochgeladen - sind jetzt kompatibel zu den
genannten Synths - aber klingen im DEXED jetzt wieder ganz anders (aus o.g. Gründen),
da ich dort einige Anpassungen vorgenommen hatte.
Bei einigen Klängen sind es eben nur Feinheiten, bei anderen ist es schon ein fast ganz
anderes Klangbild, z.B. (um nur einige zu nennen):
Bank 35:
Moog1
"lebt" mehr von der Modulation (Modwheel), anderes Attack(bild) und auch soundmässig
eben anders....im DEXED klingt das Spiel mit dem Modwheel und dem Resultat
dagegen irgendwie voll Sch.....e. Die LFO-Wellenform ist nicht so "geglättet"....
Geige
klingt im Original "feiner", zarter, etwas gefälliger
E-Piano 13
im Original weitaus voller im Klang mit etwas mehr "leben"
Atmosphere5
Dieses "Indian-Yelling" nach einigen Sekunden, was dann wieder abschwillt (klingt je Octave anders -
für mich am schönsten unterhalb C3) und leicht abklingt
Bank 36:
Clavinet3
Generell etwas leiser (einige Operatoren müssen hier "im Keller" bleiben, strukturell soundbedingt),
ansonsten "leicht" anders
SweetSound1
Klingt auch hier im Original zarter ohne Nebengeräuschen

gerade im unteren Bereich (Velocity) mehr silkig im Klang, hat m.E. schöne Digital-fahne im Sound -
im DEXED eher mehr FMish

Now, the "original"-banks are uploaded - and they are compatible to the DX7, FM7&8 or Yamaha SY-Synths...
Cos I´ve made some little changes to them as DEXED sounds a little big different - but I couldn´t change it perfectly to let it sound as the original.....
So here are some words about (if you have the DX7, FM7 or FM8 and want to compare to the DEXED), cos the banks, saved in DEXED can´t be loaded in the NI FM7 or the original DX7, it seems...

sounds with more "feel", more "careless" in original

It has this "Indian-yelling" after some seconds and after the attack; it decay slowly but sounds far better as in DEXED, i love it from C3 downwards to C1
Bank 36:
Clavinet3
sounds more quieter (cos of originalprogramming the FM-operators should be too loud, cos of too much noises/Feedback) - turn up your mixer!
Sweetsound1
Sounds more tender as in DEXED without nasty noises
SynthX
sounds far better in original as in DEXED, with a silky/PPGish or Digitaltouch C3 downwards (velocity)

ok - more tender in original here - I´ve programmed more Noise in the attackphase (on DEXED) for more realism - but you can hear a little bit noise for that in the original too

Only to mention some sounds, where you can hear the more different sound. Many sounds has strong velocity, so "Strange" sounds like "sweeten Sawlead" and with harder attack with more noise and nastier, or SynBass7 like a bottom, big FM-Bass with harder hiting on keys, more noise and far brighter - typical FM....

Habe auch nie "updated", weil mir der FM7 alles bietet und auch die Factorysounds sind super. Vor allem
reproduziert(e) er meine DX-Klänge wirklich autenthisch. Deshalb kann ich auch nicht genau sagen, ob
NI da an diesem "Strick" gedreht hat und nichts beim FM8 verändert hat.
Ansonsten sollte es auch beim FM8 wie beim DX7 klingen.
