Hi,
thanks for these two new ones! Again looking very interesting.
However, the link for the Slab 4 does not work. This is the link: https://ln.sync.com/dl/3e98951a0/n5wwiug...2346240004
Schöne Grüße - Best wishes, Helli

Presenting: copperHead - rather than an emulation, this time an 'original' design drawn heavily from ARP 2500, 2600, Odyssey, the CMS 2600 're-issue' 2607 and a couple of ideas from the Macbeth M5 and a couple of other non-ARP based designs.
- from the 2500, primarily the oscillator design, with all waveforms output simultaneously in addition to a dedicated mixed-waveforms output where each waveform has an 'attenuverter' for mixing them in any combination in or out of phase. Also the inclusion of a CV called 'Slow Random'.
- from the 2600, three oscillators, all of which can also be LFOs.
- from 2500, 2600, 2607 and M5 - full patchablilty.
- from Odyssey, the ability to switch instantly between two mod sources for each mod input; only here, of course the two inputs can be selected from all the signal sources.
- from the 2607 and M5, two LFOs; but like M5 both are full-featured, with modulate-able Rate and out level. And like 2600's keyboard LFO and Odyssey's, the different waveforms are available simultaneously (here in addition to a separate selectable wave out).
- from M5, two filters (a single-output HP into LP, CS-80-style or split Multimode), three ADSRs and two VCAs.
- includes two Mults that are constructed like u-he's Multiplexes - each is two pairs of attenuate-able inputs mixed together and can multiplied by a third input. Can do mixing, Ring Modulation, attenuation, inverting and CV cross-fading. Best info is in the Bazille manual.

Hi,
does somebody know what happened to the dsprobotics (flowstone) site? Several things, including the forum, are missing. Thanks in advance?

After a long break, I finally upgraded from Synthmaker to Flowstone and these are the first two projects completed.
Four On Two - sort of combines certain elements/structures of the Yamaha dual-line CS-series idea and the Dave Smith Evolver.

Voyette SPT - Based on the 'Layer' mode of the Voyetra Eight, with GUI drawn from it's mono version, Voyetra One (though the plug is poly, of course).

Thanks for asking - but had a run of rotten luck on that score lately. Failed to get into three shows I entered in a row, and the local gallery that I'm in has not gotten the foot traffic they'd hoped for in their new location. They are primarily hand-crafted frame makers and that business had really slackened, so the gallery took a back seat. Probably going to shift the buisiness model to selling in one or more on-line galleries and social media promotion.

Being an artist is a hard business, maybe you are interested to contact my good friend Peter Stoeckl via Facebook. Also a poor artist soul

"Throttle" began life years ago as an attempt at an emulation of the Radikal Accelerator, but never finished and released it partially because the Accelerator is one of the only synths that includes a Karplus-Strong based String Filter - and I hadn't a clue how do that with Synthmaker. After upgrading to Flowstone, I searched the DSPR forum for "Karplus-Strong" and lo and behold, the amazing filter guru Martin Vicanek had built one. Through his brilliance and generosity, I've been able to finish this out with a proper String Filter, though it's controls are rather different from that in the Accelerator.
I didn't attempt to emulate the Accelerator's 32x32 mod matrix, partly because I'm too lazy, but mostly because I much prefer to have all my plugins' controls to be visible on a single edit page, with no hidden functions or buried panels. Instead each modulate-able parameter has a dedicated 'mod stack', consisting of three mod source selectors; each with an bipolar amount control. Additionally, two of the osc pitch and filters' cutoff mod inputs have selectors for mod 'controllers' or 'shapers'.
Another of the Accelerator's most unique features was an accelerometer inside the case, that generated X and Y axis CVs based on how the synth was wiggled/bumped/shaken while playing. Obviously not possible with a plugin (!), so in it's place is an XY pad whose output can be switched to that of a MIDI joystick or XY pad that generates CC# 16 and 17 (i.e. Yamaha SY22, SY35 and TG33).

The Flowstone 64-bit Alpha is now very stable and I've been able to port a number of my things to 64-bit; Those that are now 64-bit have also been given re-sizable GUIs.
They are clearly identified as such on my website's opening page.
