Smidy free
Smidy free! PlugIn is a small synthesizer/sampleplayer VST 3 plugIn free of charge, available as 32-bit and 64-bit version. It has no setup, you have to copy the .vst3 file manually (explained below). Copying and redistribution of Smidy free! PlugIn is permitted so long as it is free-of-charge. Like Smidy PlugIn, Smidy free! PlugIn can also be hosted by foreign sequencers/DAWs. It is nearly equivalent to Smidy PlugIn of Smidy full version but it has no Contrabass sample.
If you have downloaded and/or installed Smidy free! it is not necessary to download Smidy free! PlugIn. It is already included in Smidy free!
Multisamples:
• E-Guitar Clean (44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo)
• Piano (new re-recorded version, 44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo)
• Muted Guitar (44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo)
• Drums (96 kHz, 24-bit, mono)
• E-Bass (44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo)
• Accordion (44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo)
The synth-part adds basic oscillation like sinus, saw, triangle, square and white noise. Based on the multisamples and the basic oscillation 18 instrument programs are predefined:

• European Disco Saw
• Chinese Pipa
• Synth Bass
• Synth Clarinet

Every MIDI channel can be set to its individual program selection which makes Smidy free! PlugIn a multitimbral soundmodul.
Installation
The zip file contains the .vst3 file, directly. Please unzip it in your program files/common files/vst3/smidyplugin folder, your host should detect the plugIn the next time it is started. Do not just copy the zip file to the destination folder! It has no consequence. Smidy free! PlugIn doesn't create any more files nor does it create registry entries nor does it use an internet connection. If it is not needed anymore it is enough to remove the smidypluginV2.vst3 file.
Please check if your program-files folder is rather program files (x86) if using the 32-bit version. Also ensure that the program files/common files/vst3 folder already exists: it is the VST 3 plugIn hotfolder where other plugIns should already have created their subdirectories.

• Closed hi hat and pedal hi hat are stopping open hh on MIDI channel 10
