Ganymed can be described best as a complex modulation sequence synth based on 3 operator FM synthesis.

    3 Operator FM Synthesis
    Up to 32 voices polyphony
    3 ENVs, 3 LFOs, 6 Mod-Adders
    3 MIDI control sources, key, velocity, aftertouch
    4 SEQ sources

This is an old one, but very much worth exploring... sound design is refreshingly different from most FM synths, don't be put off by the simple "tabs" GUI!
Music is intended and designed for sentient beings that have hopes and purposes and emotions.
