I've taken the Bezier sound engine of Quad-Klanger, and applied the principles of Dynamic Stochastic Synthesis to it. In other words, with BlowFly the composer sets a few probability distribution parameters and the values of movement boundaries, and then the app generates a soundscape by manipulating the shape and wavelength of the curve from one cycle to the next.

Weird and unpredictable is an understatement - the resulting sounds can be subtle and mellow one moment and angry, twisted and distorted the next.

After the screenshot is links to the kind of sounds this thing can produce - the first is with the settings shown on the screenshot, and the next few with various changes to the settings; in a couple of cases with changes made as the sound plays along. Be sure to also check out the video with yours truly explaining the theory behind this synth, and featuring yet more sounds.
