Einer meiner gerne genutzten Sampler
mit individueller Library für spezielle Sounds, bzw. Soundtracks

In Zeiten wo Speicherplatz und Multisamples noch Zukunftsmusik,
machte man aus der Not eine Tugend und trotzdem ergaben sich interessante Klänge und Soundcollagen.
In der Library befinden sich zum einen freie Samples aus dem Netz, selbst gesampelte
Hardwaresynths, eigene Stimmen und akustische Instrumente und Geräusche.
Gelayert im Multichannel "Cochise" WAV-Sampler mit rudimentärer Envelope und DelayFX,
teilweise gepitched, ergeben sich so die in den 80s beliebten Layersounds.

Manche Sounds sind "Untuned", bzw. "out-of-tune" und stehen für sich, bzw. ergeben
im Mix dadurch sogar einen besonderen Reiz.
Auch ideal zum Verfremden, Granulieren und für vieles Neues,
einsetzbar in anderen Samplern!

WICHTIG:
Die Ordner WAV_Files 1-3 entpacken in C : Programme_WAV_Samples (alle den gleichen (gleichnamigen Ordner);
die Ordner Cochise und Cochise Patches in den gleichen VST-Ordner.
Nach dem ersten Aufrufen findet das Plug die Samples für die Patches.

WAV-Sampler with individual Samplelibrary.

One of my favorite used sampler with individual library for special sounds or rather soundtracks.
In times where much RAM or multisamples are the future, of our needs we´ve made a virtue.

However there were interesting sounds and textures.
In this library are mostly free sounds from the net, self-sampled hardwaresynths,
own voices and own recorded acoustic instruments and noises.
Layered in the "Cochise" WAV-Sampler engine with rudimentary envelope, DelayFX,
sometimes pitched down or upwards, you could create those lov3d 80s Layersounds.

Some patches are "untuned", respectively "out-of-tune" and stands of their own.
But in the mix this made it special. Otherwise you can granulize, stretch or re-patch
the sounds for your own needs.

VERY IMPORTANT:
Re-zip those files in C:programs_wav-files (all in the same file); the files "Cochise" and "Cochise Patches"
put to your VST-files please. After the first start, "Cochise" will find the samples.


Demo of my Soundlibrary for the "Cochise" WAV Sampler by TWEAKBENCH.
All the sounds are from this library (except the drums) and played
without the use of external effects.

Great demo (again)!

Cochise looks simple by today's standards, but back in the early '80s an instrument with even a single layer of short, low sample-rate, low bit-depth samples would have cost more than my entire current recording setup. Yet many of the tracks/albums made with them remain classics.


I'd almost forgotten Cochise - it must be about 15 years old by now! - so I'm really looking forward to trying out these patches.
