Hi!
Taking a next step in History, arrives Adder.
I was curious to see how the real, out coming waveform changes in an additive synth, so made a simple trial one in the Spring on a weekend afternoon.
The factory module contained 128 harmonics and was really wide on the GUI. I wanted to use only 16 bars so changed the bar number. But when raised only the 1st bar, it showed a rippled sine wave and the sound reflected this too. Started to investigate the schematics deeply with scoopes and poly-readout windows, I found a very scientific component and supposed that it causes something un-desirable. Cutted it out and my 1st bar wave changed to sine! Wow! Maybe it works now technically incorrectly, but what you see on the waveshape display, that goes to the synth's remaining part.
Worked a bit on the change following at wave display and the VST firstly not recorded/read well the created wave, but finally worked somehow everything.
I've made 1-2 trial patch and stepped forward to a new synth.
After releasing the Marsaut on VST Planet, joined to my group Kujashi. We started mailing and he noted me that made some patches for Adder. Wow, great news!
Any serious change in the schematic can destruct the existing patches in an .fxb bank file, so I made some cosmetic changes on the GUI and had no other possibilities to make it more flexible.
Kujashi finished the bank and made a great demo music too and I sent it to VST Planet. Aleksandar made a video about it on the Planet channel.
Despite its simple construction, seems quite popular. It is my 2nd most viewed synth on Planet...
I uploaded it with my near to empty bank file, but check it at Kujashi too, he will upload his bank with the demo music too!
Enjoy it, if works... Smile

Main features:
- Customly modified additive oscillator with 16 harmonics
- Large waveshape display – what-you-see-is-what-you-get on oscillator output
- Vibrato LFO and modulation envelope for pitch
- Bypassable 4 band graphic-parametric equalizer
- Filter with 5 mode, adjustable keyboard tracking, dedicated LFO (for wah-wah effect) and adjustable modulation envelope
- Pitch / Filter modulation envelope and Amplifier envelope (ADSRs)
- Bypassable effects: ping-pong delay, reverb and chorus
- Output oscilloscope to avoid overload-type distorsions
- PitchWheel to filter cutoff, ModWheel to filter LFO depth
- Clear, user friendly interface
- Low processor load
- It comes with a Kujashi made soundbank (128 patches - see at him)

Always use the .fxb banks - the .txt based is not tested and used!
For a quick trial I attached the great SaviHost program from Hermann Seib (donate him if can!) - means the .exe is not an installer, just a great local host program.

KUJASHI SOUNDBANK for ADDER

Ok, here is my soundbank for ADDER....

I´ve posted these patchbank on GYL´s FB-account too. But here are those
sounds for Music-society members too - and for those who doesn´t like FB :-)

At first sight you may not expect what kind of sounds ADDER can produce....

A soundbank with 128 patches:

In this bank you can find soaring analog and digital Leads, PPG synths & Voices,
real Tangerine Dream Choirs, synthetic Basses, natural Emulations, Leads, Pads, Keys, Ambient, Fantasy and atmospheric Sounds, Organs,
many Sequencer-Food, Bells, Percussion and Drumsounds......

This sounddemo shows the use of the patches in some example-songs....
Played only with sounds of this bank and without the use of external effects
(except the drums).

Hi Armin!
Many thanks for your upload and for your work with Adder again!!!  Wink
:top2 Danke

brijawi

I like the synth; it's intuitive to use. Also, the Kujashi sounds are great. Thank you.
My sincere thanks, Gyl, for posting this up on here for all of us to download..really appreciate it.  :top2

I'm really looking forward to putting it through its paces in the very near future (..in fact, just as soon as I log out of here.  Grins)

Also, my thanks to Armin, for his time and efforts..also very much appreciate.  Danke

Dan (A.M)
Thanks for your kind words! Smile
Other synths will come too, maybe next time Drag-On with a Kujashi bank.
Later Dualism, Primo, Saturn,... all with cooperation with him.
Now working on a big synth again. Wink
If you make some music with my synths, I would like to listen to it / them. :-)
Thanks, dear brijawi!
I'm pleased that you like it! :-)
